Wanghu Village Urban Renewal & Resettlement Project

The Wanghu Village Urban Village Renovation and Resettlement Area Project in Yuci District, Shanxi Province, undertaken by Shanxi Construction Investment Group Materials Trading Co., Ltd. and Shanxi No. 8 Construction Group Co., Ltd., is a landmark urban renewal project in the region. As a core component of Phase III (Area C) of the resettlement area, this large-scale residential development aims to transform the original village into a modern, high-density community with over 1,000 newly built homes, comprehensive public facilities, and complete power infrastructure.

In March 2022, Jinhong Wire & Cable Group was selected as the exclusive power cable supplier for the project, with a total contract value of RMB 10.66 million. We completed all deliveries in April 2022, providing a range of specialized cables that met the project's stringent requirements for safety, reliability, and long-term performance.

This resettlement project, managed by Shanxi Construction Investment Group Materials Trading Co., Ltd. and constructed by Shanxi No. 8 Construction Group Co., Ltd., presents unique challenges to the power infrastructure:

High-Density Residential Load: Multi-story buildings and centralized housing require cables with stable current-carrying capacity to meet the continuous daily power demands of household appliances, air conditioning, and public utilities such as elevators and public lighting.

Underground Installation Durability: Medium-voltage distribution cables will be installed in underground conduits and direct burial locations, thus requiring robust mechanical protection against impact, moisture, and long-term environmental stresses.

Fire Safety Compliance: As a residential community, fire safety is a top priority for this project. Cables need to meet flame-retardant, low-smoke, halogen-free (LSZH) standards to minimize toxic fume emissions and fire spread.

WDZR-YJY / ZRYJY: Low-smoke, halogen-free, flame-retardant low-voltage power cables suitable for main power distribution and indoor wiring in buildings. These cables reduce toxic fumes generated during fires, protecting residents and rescue personnel in emergencies.

WDZRBYJ-10: Flame-retardant building wiring designed specifically for internal wiring in residential units. Suitable for wall and conduit installation, these wires provide reliable insulation and flame-retardant properties for household circuits, ensuring safety and stability in daily use.

All cables provided in this project have the following characteristics:

• High-purity copper conductor, ensuring low power loss and stable current carrying capacity;
