The Shuikou Wind Power Project in Liping, Guizhou Province, is invested and developed by China Resources New Energy (Liping) Wind Power Co., Ltd., and is one of the key clean energy wind farm construction projects in the mountainous areas of Guizhou.
The project is located in the hilly area of Liping, Guizhou Province, with complex terrain, high humidity, heavy rainfall, frequent mountain fog, steep slopes, and undulating terrain. The project includes wind turbine generator collection lines, booster station incoming and outgoing lines, on-site auxiliary power distribution, equipment control signal transmission, and fire emergency power supply systems. Mountainous wind power projects place extremely high demands on cables: flame retardancy, fire resistance, armored compressive strength, moisture and corrosion resistance, low-temperature resistance, excellent anti-interference control performance, and adaptability to long-distance underground laying, cable trenches traversing mountains, cable routing within towers, and harsh, humid mountain conditions.
Jinhong was selected as the official supplier of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) power cables and control cables for this wind power project.
